To the death takes on a whole new meaning in Mortal Kombat. A game loved for it's blood and guts thrives on showing you more be-headings, and deadly spike falls. Well, the master minds behind Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, are at it again. This time the lack of DC adds to the games gorier possibilities.

Today, NetherRealm, announced the return of Mortal Kombat, a bloody followup to the more kid friendly version of the game. This one promises' to be everything you wanted, but nothing you expected. As you blood spills over from excitement, well will bring you more from the show floor of E3 2010, and overload you with all the new details you can handle. Mortal Kombat introduces a number of new game modes as well as the most extensive online experience ever seen in a fighting game. Up to four players can battle “tag-team”- two players can team up in the new “Co-op Arcade Mode” or compete against another team online.
