With Xbox Live being the most popular online gaming service around, most others are doing everything they can to copy, and learn from what Microsoft is doing. Xbox Live's closest rival would be Sony’s PSN raking in almost 25 million registered users, and they have done a few things that could be signs that they want to take the battle to Microsoft. As they both vie for the love of online gamers, features and services are always being add and updated. While Sony has fattened the multiplayer battle system with MAG, by offering a whopping 256 players online, there is one online component of their online services that has been lost among the mist of rumors, and hype surrounding the industry right now. Yep you read it correctly cross game video chat, the PS3 at the moment is the only gaming system providing this feature. If you want to check it out, and get a taste of the future, Drop by the PlayStation store and download Zen Pinball for 9.99.
The fact that Zen Pinball is not the most robust game graphically or technologically, may have something to do with this pretty cool feature being included. Even with a somewhat low tech game this could very well be a sign of things to come, and given Sony’s position in the console war I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled out all the stops to make up the ground they lost. If this is any indication of Sony’s plans, the future looks mighty bright for the PlayStation Network.
so zen pinball is the only place to find this feature? They should add more of this feature to other games.
i never knew this feature was in any games yet but they need to add this feature to all their games.
