The rules of War are not always obeyed, and Ubisoft's R.U.S.E looks to take advantage of the looseness of those rules. R.U.S.E, A real time strategy game based on war and deception, was debut at last years E3. For some R.U.S.E could turn out to be a very difficulty one to play, if your deception skills are not up to par. Today Ubisoft announced that R.U.S.E is now going into Public Beta, and is available for download on Steam.
In the public beta, players will have the opportunity to choose one of the 6 unique factions available in the game (US, UK, GER, USSR, FRANCE, IT) and train themselves against the artificial intelligence on the “Blitz” map before entering the multiplayer challenge.
With 7 multiplayer maps (from 1 vs. 1 to 4 vs. 4…or free for all) players will be able to test their strategist skills against enemies combining up to 10 different ruses to lure their opponents in one of the 3 multiplayer game modes (1939, 1942, 1945).
R.U.S.E. is scheduled to release on June 3rd 2010 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.
