Dead Rising 2 is exactly like Dead Rising and that’s why your going to love it. You play as a stunt man who has lost his wife in the…Do you really care? No? Alright, you get to walk around decapitating zombies and saving survivors for 72 hours in the Las Vegas Strip. The two biggest improvements on the game were the weapon customization and now you can actually read the text at the bottom. Yes, they made the text bigger. The weapon customization is fairly straight-forward; find nails, find a bat, make a spiked bat. You can do that with most anything you find so you’ll always be on the lookout for materials. Whether you’re a fan of the old game or a newcomer you will rejoice in the same blood and gore as the last game.

If it aint broke don’t fix it. Fallout New Vegas’ Motto lends well to its gameplay. Much of what you loved in the last game will be available for you in New Vegas. The wepsons and VAT system handle the same way and the atmosphere was as engrossing as ever. Some of the minor changes include if you do critcal damage while not in VATS it still does the neat-o slo-mo on the character you just killed. The mission I was on was to help the California National Guard free prisoners taken by a warring faction. I was given two options; to climb a cliff and snipe from above or try a straight on assault. So I decide to climb a cliff to try a straight on assault. The action was quick but effective. The AI bots was incredibly helpful and the mission was satisfying.

Again not much has changed. Because you're in vegas there will be gambling so if your overweight make it to a casino and gamble away your money. Some of the newer weapons include the new colt pistol and revolver, the M4 rifle, single fire grenade launcher and many many more. Bethesda really does missions well so expect as deep if not deeper story from Fallout New Vegas. If anyone wants to start the Fallout series it holds the same punch the original does, but for Fallout vets there's plenty more to look forward too.
